If you serve it with an excessively rich or overly sweetened dessert, you will be unable to appreciate its benefits. Serve it as an opener with foie gras or rich pâtés, or as a classic dessert alongside seasonal fruit and cheese. Wines with plum notes, such as red icewines, blend wonderfully with dark chocolate.
