    How to drink Ice Wine?

in Welcome to the Food Forum

Enjoy it on its own following dinner just like you would with a dessert, Icewine is delectable to end one’s meal on a sweet note. For harmony, pair this creamy, sweet wine with a milder, less decadent dessert or something savory and full-flavored. If you serve it with an excessively rich or overly sweetened dessert, you will be unable to appreciate its benefits. Serve it as an opener with foie gras or rich pâtés, or as a classic dessert alongside seasonal fruit and cheese. Wines with plum notes, such as red icewines, blend wonderfully with dark chocolate. If you have any wine remaining over from the evening before, try one of Icewine's excellent, yet expensive, wine cocktails.
